The 38th Winter Colloquium on the Physics of Quantum Electronics will be held January 6-10, 2008.

Conference Proceedings

  • The conference proceedings will be published in a special issue of the Journal of Modern Optics. Information about the special can be found here.

Dates: January 6-10, 2008

  • There will be a reception on Sunday evening, January 6th in honor of the 2008 recipients of the Willis E. Lamb Award for Laser Science and Quantum Optics. This year's winners are Gershon Kurizki of the Weizmann Institute, Mark Raizen of the University of Texas at Austin, and Wolfgang Schleich of Universität Ulm.

  • The conference sessions will be Monday, January 7 through Thursday, January 10. Note that the days of the week are different from previous years!

  • Please note that the conference will run through the evening of Thursday, January 10. Please make plans to attend the entire conference.

Hotel and travel

Participants must make their own lodging and travel arrangements. Please make your reservation before December 6 to insure availability of a room. Instructions are here.
