Hotel Reservations

The 39th Winter Colloquium on the Physics of Quantum Electronics, PQE-2009, will be held at Snowbird, Utah, USA.

All participants must make their own hotel reservations. To make hotel reservations:

• Deadline: December 1, 2008.

• Call Snowbird central reservations at +1-800-232-9542. If you cannot call toll-free numbers in the US, then call +1-801-947-8220.

• Depending on what the recorded message says, you either want the option to speak with a “lodging specialist” or “to make new reservations”.

• Tell them you are with the PQE Conference to get the group rate. The group rate is US$175 plus tax per night (single or double occupancy). I am told that the tax is 11.55%, for total of $195. This rate is valid January 3 through January 8.

• There are several hotels at Snowbird, and the conference will be in the “Cliff Lodge” so we recommend that one. Also, the Cliff Lodge is where we get the group rate.

• You may want to book ground transportation to and from the airport when you make your hotel reservation. Read more on that here.
